Phil LeahyFounder and Managing Director of Retail Global

After a long music industry career at Sony Entertainment & Kiss FM, Phil successfully launched and built one of the largest eBay businesses retailing CDs & DVDs – achieving Australia’s #1 eBay seller in 2007 & 2008 for the most sales in all categories.

After selling his retail business in 2008, Phil has continued his roles as CEO of the PeSA Retail Global and more recently launching ThinkGlobal Retail, ensuring its value to the online seller community continues to grow in Australia & the USA.

Phil received the Industry Recognition Award at the Online Retail Industry Awards in 2013 for the individual who has made the most outstanding contribution to the eCommerce industry in Australia.

He is passionate about the industry and the people that lead it. Phil is also the founder of the PeSA Gala charity event, which has raised over $300,000 to date for the Reach Foundation, a charity that holds a great significance in his heart.

 Helena-StylmanDirector, Retail Global

Helena’s work experience includes several years as a Director of the iStrategy conference, which has a global presence in Europe, North America and Australia. During her time at iStrategy, Helena used her single-minded focus, passion and dedication to increase the company’s reach in the online and digital marketing space. Through her role at iStrategy Helena assisted high-profile international clients such as Coca Cola, McDonalds, Westfield and American Express with best practices to integrate online and offline efforts.

Helena brings highly effective relationship-building skills and a keen strategic mind to her portfolio as Conference Director.

Shaun-O’BrienManaging Director Selby Acoustics

 

Shaun O’Brien draws from over 20 years of retail experience working for some of the largest and most respected retail chains within Australia and New Zealand, including over 5 years as a retail manager.

 

8 Years ago Shaun was no different from the vast majority of new eBay sellers. He was a Manager at the local Bunnings store and sold a few items on eBay to bolster his income, starting with $100 in his pocket.

 

In 2002, while still working full time, Shaun started his first online trading business selling HDMI Cables, Selby Acoustics. After two years of late nights and early morning answering emails, listing products and many trips to the post office, Selby Acoustics had grown to the point where it needed Shaun full time.

Steve is co-founder of the social selling digital agency CHUNKY Media. He also owns HONEY Bar and Restaurant, the home of many successful Entrepreneur Club, Networking and Meet up events.
