Nicky Jackson is Founder & CEO of RangeMe, the market leading B2B digital platform that streamlines new product discovery between retail chains and Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) companies in food, beverage, healthcare, pet care and beauty.
The concept of RangeMe came to Nicky while developing a range of baby skincare products. Looking for ways to achieve rapid distribution, she had the idea to create a single, efficient network to match sellers with buyers looking for products like theirs. Prior to launching RangeMe Nicky worked as a Marketing Executive at Kellogg’s, Uncle Toby’s, Goodman Fielder, PepsiCo and Jim Beam in Australia and the UK.
After bootstrapping the company in Sydney, she raised $2M to accelerate growth and prove product-market fit. With key Australian retailers such as Coles, Terry White, Harris Farm and Chemmart successfully working with Nicky, she expanded the business into the US by establishing a Head Office in San Francisco.
In the US Nicky raised $4m from US venture capitalists and built the business in under 2 years to over 150,000 suppliers of brands representing over 600,000 products. Each month the business acquires and onboards an unprecedented 6,000 new suppliers into the network.
With a talent for networking and business development, Nicky successfully signed up leading US retailers to work exclusively with RangeMe. Today, close to 70% of US FMCG retailers, representing 150,000 stores and $500B in retail sales, work with RangeMe. Notable retailers include Target, CVS, Rite Aid, Whole Foods Market, Sephora, Albertsons Safeway, GNC, Dollar General, Ahold Delhaize, and many others. In April 2017 RangeMe was successfully acquired by Snow Phipps, a New York based Private Equity firm. Nicky’s role has expanded to include the growth of RangeMe into Europe.
A keeper of an entrepreneurial spirit, Nicky is a leading voice for women in business and technology. The accelerated growth of RangeMe with her at the helm has catapulted Nicky as a true pioneer in the FMCG Technology space.
